St. Paul University Surigao (SPUS) produced nineteen (19) passers out of twenty-seven (27) takers of the recently concluded Mining Engineering Examinations given by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) last August 11, 12, and 13, 2015 in Metro Manila and the result was released on august 17, 2015. The passers are the pioneering batch of SPUS since the first offering of the program last Academic Year 2010 – 2011.

The successful Paulinian Mining Engineers who are equipped with catholic education are pioneered to be the catalyst of a responsible mining.
Engineer Edmar P. Anahaw, graduated cum laude said, “I feel relieved that I passed the board exam. I am now ready to practice my profession as mining engineer and be an agent of promoting responsible mining.”
Engr. Anahaw is now employed in Hinatuan Mining Corporation, Taganaan, Surigao del Norte.
Sister Marie Rosanne Mallillin, SPC, university president, extends her congratulations to the passers, she wish the Paulinian mining engineers who imbibed the gospel-laden education will responsibly care the nature through responsible mining particularly in our province.
She is inviting the new engineers to visit the school anytime.
The administration, faculty, staff, and students also convey their greetings to the Paulinian mining engineers.
